A father in the Whitsundays captured a perfectly timed moment of family comedy after asking his 14yearold son to shut a window only for the boy to be instantly soaked by leftover rainwater. The clip, posted by boogaloo66 on Instagram, has now drawn 296,000 views.
The family had just installed a new strut window and were getting ready to head out for dinner when the dad, unable to resist the setup, asked his son to close it. As soon as the teen pulled it shut, water from the earlier downpour tipped straight onto him, leaving the family laughing at the unexpected splash.
The dad described the moment as gold, saying it was too good not to film.
