This is the amusing moment an orangutan sheltered from the rain with a makeshift umbrella he made from leaves.
Footage shows the resourceful primate using the clump of broad leaves to stay dry amid a downpour in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.
It sat near the forest trail as tourists trudged past at the Tanjung Puting National Park on September 29.
Orangutans are great apes living in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. They previously ranged throughout Southeast Asia but are now only found in parts of the two islands, becoming critically endangered due to deforestation and the illegal wildlife trade.
Orangutans are among the most intelligent primates, capable of using tools, learning sign language, planning, and solving complex problems.
