Join Ebro in The Morning as we host a Town Hall to discuss the disparities in the Black and Latino communities related to the Covid-19 crisis. Black New Yorkers are dying at twice the rate of their white peers; Latinos in the city are also succumbing to the virus at a much higher rate than white or Asian New Yorkers. The same trends can be seen in infection and hospitalization rates. Given COVID-19’s devastating toll on Blacks and Latinos, this town hall will take a close look at how the virus is impacting communities of color and what efforts are being made to address the disparity.
