Yung Gravy came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking about his latest single, “Betty” garnering millions of views on YouTube, and he revealed that his hobby of rapping turned into a full-fledged career. From there, Yung Gravy revealed that Curren$y is a big influence, and he revealed that the “Jet Life” rapper recently reached out to collaborate. Yung Gravy then went on to speak about growing up in Minnesota, and he pointed out that there are legends like Prince, Bob Dylan, and Lizzo that are also from the state. Yung Gravy also revealed that his parents were older, in their 40s and 50s, when he was born, and he explained that his father was a reputable psychologist. When it comes to musical influence, Yung Gravy explained that YouTube exposed him to a lot of music from the 1960s and 70s. After speaking about getting in trouble in his teenage years, Yung Gravy spoke about working at a summer camp, which is where he said he started rapping for the first time.
