When Kylie Jenner came into the world, she was practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Of course, her family was already loaded. Just ask her momager, Kris Jenner or her super successful siblings, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kendall. But she wasn’t the kind of gal that liked sitting on her laurels waiting for her parents to give her an allowance. She started working on her own projects at an early age and eventually, Kylie took the beauty industry by storm with her Kylie Cosmetics line.
In the blink of an eye, the young entrepreneur has built an empire out of lip kits, eyeshadow palettes, and skincare products. In fact, Kylie’s lip kits sold within minutes of being launched and earned her millions of dollars. But her revenue skyrocketed after she forged a business alliance with beauty retailer Ulta, which made her line available at over a thousand stores. The beauty mogul is worth a whopping $900 million at the tender age of 22.
But Kylie fans have long suspected that the young entrepreneur was headed to the stars. Dominating reality television social media, and the cosmetics industry were just some of her major accomplishments. But sadly, nobody’s perfect, not even Kylie. Her makeup line has come under fire on more than one occasion, like when the FDA came forward about ongoing issues with Spatz Laboratories where her line is produced. But other behind the scenes problems are making Kylie’s employees jump ship and they’re not looking back.
