They may not be next in line, but being so close to the throne puts Kate in a major position of power! It’s a lot to take on as upper ranking members of the British Royal family, but that’s exactly what Kate signed up for when she decided to marry for love.
Ever since their wedding was broadcast for all the world to see, people have been watching Kate’s every move! Her level of influence both in the commonwealth and within the royal family are key. Since Meghan and Harry have stepped away and other members of the family are getting up there in age, that pretty much leaves William and Kate to take the majority of the workload!
The Queen won’t be around forever, and when the time comes for the next royal to take the throne, Kate’s life and responsibilities as a senior royal will change regardless of her title. Will Kate eventually be the head honcho of the British Monarchy? It sure seems that way!
