This audio is (Day 4) from the January 2009 proffer session between Duane KeefeD Davis and the police, including LAPD detectives Daryn Dupree and Greg Kading.
The recording comes from the second proffer session conducted under Keefe D’s federal proffer agreement, where he detailed the timeline of events leading up to and following the September 7, 1996 shooting on the Las Vegas Strip.
On the tape, Keefe D outlines the assembly of the white Cadillac, how the Glock handgun ended up in the vehicle, and the confrontation with Tupac’s BMW near the Strip.
State prosecutors played this recording to directly establish Keefe D’s own voice admitting to key details of the conspiracy on tape, while placing it in immediate context with Denvonta “Dirt Rocc” Lee’s testimony regarding HIDTA interviews and task force operations around that same late-2000s timeframe.
