VladTV Full Interview with Nipsey Hussle (RIP)

In this full interview from 2013, Nipsey Hussle spoke to VladTV about his career success at the time, most notably how he had recently sold 100 copies of his $100 Crenshaw mixtape to Jay Z. “It wasn’t about the money,” Nipsey said about his marketing plan, “it was about the level of connection and respect with the fans.” From there, he explained why he left his record deal with Epic, stating that major labels don’t respect talent.

Elsewhere in the interview, he also breaks down all matters related to Los Angeles gang culture, specifically in regards to the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips. With that said, he also detailed his focus for his music and business endeavors, where at the time he was expanding his Crenshaw clothing line.
