In this clip, Tsu Surf explains why he’s never been on Nick Cannon’s Wild n Out show on MTV, a platform that’s become a second home to battle rappers like Conceited, Hitman Holla, and Charlie Clips. Surf explains that it mainly comes down to his approach as an emcee, noting that the comedic element of the show is better suited for battle rappers of a particular style.

Later on, Surf speaks on his latest project Seven 25, named after the exact date and time of when he got shot last year. He talks about what it was like to work with a legend like Beanie Sigel on the project, which also features Mozzy and Benny the B.U.T.C.H.E.R. Additionally, he also mentions that he’s working on a joint mixtape with Mozzy, and has recently been in the studio with Game to hear his new album.
