In this clip, Tsu Surf speaks on what his mindset was like when he was facing an attempted murder charge, saying that ultimately he remained optimistic that any prison time would eventually be reduced. With that said, he notes that he spent approximately $60K on lawyers to fight various charges over the years, as he points out that legal representation is too expensive for people with regular jobs that don’t have any income to spare. Elsewhere, Surf recalls his own disappointment that came from being in prison despite his talent for music, remembering that there were times that CO’s would even ask for his autograph.
