For years, we’ve known Kim Jong-un as the Supreme Leader of North Korea, even though the country is notoriously secretive. So much so that there are conflicting reports regarding whether or not he’s in a coma or not! But according to some intelligence reports, he’s out of commission and his younger sister Kim Yo-jong is stepping up. She’s been his right hand for years as well as a major player in the Workers’ Party but is she ready to take charge as his possible successor? We could be looking at an all new regime and this might not bode well for the country’s relationship with South Korea. Some believe the increase in her public appearances is a sign of some upcoming changes while others worry she will lead with an iron fist. This change of leadership could mean huge alterations even regarding things as seemingly simple as which haircuts people can get! It took months for us to learn that Kim Jong-il had passed away and many wonder if North Korea is going under a transitional period once again.
