The Most Repetitive Rappers

Rap and hip-hop are genres of innovators: from its conception as a sample-based medium, what defines the genre has always been challenged by forward thinkers, pioneers of rap, and boundary pushers. These men and women are enshrined as some of hip-hop’s most enduring artists, from the first proto-rappers like Gil-Scott Heron and Grandmaster Flash, to the first women MCs such as Sha-Rock and MC Lyte, to the 90s with Dr.Dre and the rise of G-Funk, all the way through to the present day, where artists such as Young Thug and Playboy Carti continue to challenge our notions of what real hip-hop really is. These artists never settled and always sought to break down the limits of genre…
…and then there’s the rest of them. Having said that, there are some rappers who have just been on the same wave their whole career. Here’s a list of some of the most repetitive rappers of all time.
