Every year, since 1948, fashion icons, celebrities, and even royalty make an appearance at this star-studded event so they can see and be seen, and even become a part of history.
Over the years, the Met Gala has dazzled as celebs and designers come together to create the most talked about moments of the red carpet. Who can forget Lady Gaga’s multi-level transformation at the 2019 Met Gala? So many of the looks on display require many assistants, such as Rihanna’s gold and yellow gown in 2015, which required an entourage just to carry her train. Everyone knows what a privilege it is to attend this exclusive exhibition. They are willing to follow some surprisingly strict rules which even dictate what the stars can eat before and during the event. Maddie Zeigler is not happy about one of the rules, because it means she won’t be attending the Gala for a while. The theme for the 2020 Met Gala was somewhat ominous for the current times we are living. Although the Gala was postponed in 2020 due to the current global situation, fashion will prevail!
