The Ins And Outs Of Kim And Kanye’s Divorce Settlement

In November 2022 Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally came to a divorce settlement following a months-long battle. Kim first filed for divorce in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. They avoid a potentially ugly court battle over the custody of their children. But Kanye West didn’t avoid the whopping $200,000 dollars a month in child support payments for the four kids the former couple share together – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. West and Kardashian will retain joint custody of their four children as per the agreement. Both have also agreed to equally divide the cost of their children’s private school and college education and their private security expenses. The settlement wasn’t going to be easy, seeing as the couple have a combined wealth of $2.1 billion dollars and 21 properties to distribute. Prior to the settlement, their case was scheduled to go to trial on December 14.
