The COVID-19 pandemic created a lot of entrepreneurs and employers are starting to worry

Eboni K. Williams and panelists look at the trend of Black Americans logging off Zoom and carving their own entrepreneurial paths. How are businesses responding and incentivizing their employees to stay? With the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic forcing companies not only across the country but around the world into lockdown, more people have used the extra time to their advantage and started making their business dreams a reality. COVID-19 created a lot of bosses. Owning your own business sounds much more appealing than returning to work for someone else’s — especially when companies are telling employees they have to come back to the office.

Inspired by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ successful “State Of Emergency: The State of Black America & Coronavirus” town hall, “REVOLT BLACK NEWS” is a platform that is designed to report news from the perspective of Black people for Black people.

“When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch ‘REVOLT BLACK NEWS.’” said Combs. “We’re here with solutions. We’ve already heard about what we can’t do, but this is what we can do.”
