James Harden has been OFFICIALLY traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Darius Garland and a second round pick. The Cavs gave up a 26-year-old All-Star under contract until 2028 for a 36-year-old who could leave after HALF a season.
Harden said he was “blessed to be home” in LA just weeks ago, but the Clippers refused to give him an extension — and now he’s on his 6TH NBA team. This is the 4th time he’s demanded a trade.
The real story? The Cavs are worried Donovan Mitchell will leave after 2027. This is Cleveland’s last chance to keep their franchise player happy by pairing him with another superstar.
