On Wednesday’s episode (Dec. 16) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska Wayno and DJ Akademiks recap their biggest beefs on the show with guests over the past three years. First, DJ Akademiks and Nadeska reflect on their first guest Lil Yachty, and the heated debate between him and Joe Budden. Next, the crew reacts to their legendary interview with Migos in 2017 at the BET Awards, where things got heated when Joe abruptly ended the interview. Soon after, DJ Akademiks talks about his beef with then YBN Crew (Cordae, Nahmir and Almighty Jay) at ComplexCon 2018, where he questioned why Cordae was receiving so many co-signs from legends. Afterwards, Akademiks, Wayno and Nadeska speak about their interview with The Game during ComplexCon 2019. Next, the trio goes back to their interview with Jeezy in 2017, where things got tense between him and Ak, after Ak challenged his credibility amongst other rappers in the game. Later, the EDS crew talks about their interview with Young Dolph and Key Glock in 2019, where Ak and Dolph got into a tense debate after Ak questioned Dolph’s reasoning for turning down a $22 million record deal to remain independent. Soon after, Ak and Nadeska speak to the Amber Rose and Ashanti interviews in 2017, where Joe Budden, on separate occasions, challenged both of their views on slut shaming, sexual liberation and false perceptions. Next, Akademiks reflects on his intense exchange with Wale back in 2017, where they debated Wale’s first week sales of his fifth studio album ‘Shine.’ Then, Nadeka speaks to the uncomfortable and awkward interview with Russ in 2017, where he called her out for allegedly not accepting guests on the show at the time. To close, the crew reacts to the ongoing feud between Vic Mensa and Akademiks that ignited in Summer 2017. Lastly, Akademiks, Nadeska and Wayno react to their most viral interview with Soulja Boy in 2019, where the crew challenged the validity of Soulja’s game console, his apparent “comeback” and overall influence on hip-hop culture.
