Influencer McKara Grey turned a routine orthodontic adjustment into a viral sensation when her jaw locked open during her 46th palate expander turn. Following her orthodontists instructions, she found herself stuck, mouth agape, for nearly an hour.
After trying warm compresses and gentle massage to coax her jaw back into place, she headed to the dentist, who referred her to a specialist two blocks away. But in a twist worthy of a sitcom, her jaw spontaneously reset itself as she walked out the door.
The video, posted to Instagram, has since garnered over 5 million views.
