This is the dramatic moment a free diver made a hasty retreat after suffering cramps 30ft underwater.
Bryan Zachary Lejarde was diving with his client when the woman suddenly struggled to move one of her legs, in Bohol, the Philippines.
Footage shows Bryan, just behind the underwater explorer in a pink swimsuit, who had been descending toward the corals, quickly swimming toward her on June 6.
The diving instructor then grabbed her and brought her safely back to the surface.
Bryan said: 'The ocean is powerful and unpredictable. Even if you feel fine, things can go wrong in seconds. Your best safety tool? A trained buddy who knows what to do.
'The client is perfectly fit but just had an unexplained leg cramp during the dive. She rested a bit and was fine enough to create another video.'
Muscle cramps in water usually happen due to dehydration, cold, overexertion, or electrolyte imbalance, and can be eased by stretching and staying hydrated.
