Shaun King, Stephen Jackson & More On George Floyd And Police Brutality | REVOLT BLACK NEWS

In a new episode of “REVOLT BLACK NEWS,” Shaun King, Stephen Jackson, Tamika Mallory and more discuss social justice issues such as police brutality; and the continued killings of unharmed black men, women and children at the hands of cops and entitled white people who choose to take the law into their own hands.

As the recent and unnecessary deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Aubrey, Breonna Taylor and more have shown us, there is still much work to be done, so these killings can stop. We’re tired of talking. We’re tired of thoughts and prayers. Enough of this shit. Now, it’s time for action.

Inspired by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ successful “State Of Emergency: The State of Black America & Coronavirus” town hall, “REVOLT BLACK NEWS” is a platform that is designed to report news from the perspective of black people, for black people.

“When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch BLACK NEWS.” said Combs. “We’re here with solutions. We’ve already heard about what we can’t do, but this is what we can do.”

Each weekly episode will feature conversations with experts, artists, and elected officials discussing COVID-19’s impact on the black community, with key topics including health and nutrition, personal finances, income inequality, mass incarceration, access to education, and more.
