A wildly creative homecoming proposal has taken Instagram by storm after a video featuring sharks, butterflies, and a whole lot of personal flair racked up over 7.8 million views.
Maelin, a high school student with a lifelong fear of butterflies and a deep love for sharks, was stunned when her date showed up at her house dressed as a sharkaccompanied by friends in butterfly costumes. In a hilarious twist, the shark fought off the butterflies in a playful skit, symbolising Maelins least and most favourite creatures.
After the mock battle, the group held up signs reading Hoco with me? and Maelin, laughing and overwhelmed, said yes.
