00:10 – Father and son are arrested for drag racing in New York’s Lincoln Tunnel in Corvettes after SHARING a video of their crash on Instagram.
New Jersey man Fred Ordine, 44, and his son Chadwick Quinones, 25, went drag racing in their Corvette sports cars in the Lincoln Tunnel on February 9.
Quinones took dashcam video of the race that shows the moment he lost control of his car and started to spin in the middle of traffic, crashing into vehicles.
At first Quinones was issued three summonses and let go
Port Authority Police arrested Quinones and Ordine on Tuesday after Quinones shared the dashcam video of the race and crash on Instagram.
They’re charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and participating in an illegal speed contest.
02:30 – SPLENDORA, Texas (KTRK) — A driver has been arrested and charged in a road rage incident that terrified a family with a baby in Splendora.
The driver, identified as Armando Montes, was captured slamming into the family’s vehicle, where a one-and-a-half-year-old child was in the back seat.
It happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday on I-69 just south of FM 2090 near the FM 2090 exit.
Authorities say Lucas Martin and his girlfriend were headed to Livingston when Montes, who was in a white Tahoe, started tailing them.
“They started slamming on their brakes and coming around us and flipping us off and swerving towards us trying to knock us off the road,” said Summer Rose.
Rose called 911 while Martin recorded the incident.
Montes is seen slowing down, speeding up and making lewd gestures.
The couple says the scariest part about it was having their son in the back seat.
According to officials, Montes also hit a motorcyclist on the exit ramp. The motorcyclist was taken to Kingwood Hospital. He’s expected to be okay.
Montes, 30, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and endangering a child because his 7-year-old daughter was in the Tahoe at the time. His wife was also with them.
Montes was out of jail on bond. He was previously charged with a DWI with a child in the car.
