Two Cambridge police officers carried out a dramatic rescue after an injured person fell onto subway tracks at a Central Square station in Massachusetts.
The incident happened on December 27, 2025, with officers told a train was due to arrive in about a minute.
With no time to shut down power or warn the operator, the officers jumped onto the tracks and pulled the person to safety.
The injured individual was taken to hospital, and police said body-worn camera footage captured the rescue.
