The genre of rap is known for many things from lyricism, grinding to get out of the struggle but the main thing that has stuck throughout the generations has been the disses rappers get into with each other and other people. They can be from a simple tweet to basically a full out rivalry against each other. Take Gucci Mane’s rivalry with Young Jeezy, it was a very deep one, to say the least, which resulted in the life of someone. Gucci Mane is popular from his contributions to the rap genre, especially in the Atlanta region. Gucci Mane paved the way for other Atlanta rappers to thrive like the Migos who he has collaborated with before on songs like “Gucci Mane – I Get The Bag feat. Migos [Official Music Video]” and “Migos – Slippery feat. Gucci Mane [Official Video]”. These are a few of many. Yet, like all of these examples, they are mainly driven by their tempers and a rapper that is truly known for his temper is Drake. Drake is known for giving back constantly to his hometown of Toronto and people who need it in general like in the music video “Drake – God’s Plan”. The same thing applies to one of the biggest names in the music industry Eminem and the creator of “Eminem – Not Afraid (Official Video)”.
