In this clip, Plaxico Burress opened up about taking a 2-year plea deal and not going to trial after shooting himself in the leg in a NYC nightclub. He explained that if he were to take the case to trial, Mayor Bloomberg was pushing for 3 and a half years minimum, and Plaxico believes that he would’ve gotten 7 or 8 years. Plaxico went on to speak about landing at Rikers Island first, which he called “Hell at its finest,” adding that he saw rats running around everywhere. He was later transferred to Ulster, where he was on lockdown for 23 hours, and then Oneida, where he said the inmates looked out for him.
