On Tuesday’s (Feb. 19) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks recap all news that happened over the past weekend. The crew kicks off the episode discussing J. Cole’s participation at the 2019 NBA Slam Dunk competition, which was held in his hometown of North Carolina. The crew then speaks on 21 Savage’s first post-jail interview with Good Morning America in which the “A Lot” rapper claims he was “targeted” by ICE during his arrest. After this, the EDS trio sheds light on the situation involving NYPD officer Emanuel Gonzalez and 50 Cent. According to TMZ, the publication is reporting that Gonzalez told fellow officers to shoot 50 Cent “on sight” at at boxing match in the Bronx. Later in the episode, the crew discusses the latest news surrounding Jussie Smollett’s alleged hate crime attack. According to several news reports, it seems like Jussie may have orchestrated attack with two other men, who he is connected to. Ak and Wayno share their thoughts on the situation, and predict what will happen next to the TV star. To close out the episode, the crew discusses YNW Melly getting his bail denied and Ja Rule planning to do a new festival.
