In this flashback clip from earlier this year, Nipsey Hussle spoke with DJ Charisma on Tune In Radio about his single “Racks in the Middle,” breaking down the recording process behind the Hit-Boy produced record that also features a rising star from Compton in Roddy Ricch. In addition to further explaining the direction behind the music video for the record, the late artist also spoke about a recent GQ cover story he had done with Laura London. “I didn’t know how it would translate but it turned out crazy,” Nipsey said of the photo shoot, while laughing that the couple had become ‘relationship goals’ for all the rest of us.
Elsewhere in the clip, Nipsey also spoke about his Marathon Clothing store, detailing his real estate success while also sharing future plans for the development. Additionally, he shared more news about a planned collaboration with Puma in the fall, prior to mentioning that new music was on the way as “the marathon continues.”
