MUUUWOP finally explains why he decided to leave The Trenches—but was the move really about getting an opportunity on URL?
Speaking with Knowledge Tha God of HipHopIsReal, MUUUWOP responds to the criticism surrounding his departure and shuts down the narrative that he simply abandoned The Trenches for Smack.
MUUUWOP says there was never any real beef or personal fallout. According to him, it was strictly a business decision. He wanted to remain a free agent, pursue matchups outside of one platform and avoid allowing his battle rap career to become stagnant.
He also explains that he never completely closed the door on returning to The Trenches. If the opportunity and business are right, MUUUWOP says he would still battle there.
Was MUUUWOP right to leave The Trenches and bet on himself—or should he have stayed loyal and waited for more opportunities?
