In this clip, Michael Franzese speaks on how he’s been earning from speaking engagements since his release from prison, while pointing out that he hasn’t had a 9-5 job since he worked on the building of the World Trade Center when he was in high school. From there, the conversation shifts towards whether he misses the lifestyle that came with his prior fortune, as he notes that for all the highs that came with his success he inevitably learned “what it was like to hit rock bottom” when he spent 8 years in prison. During that stretch, Franzese says that he spent almost three years in solitary confinement, recalling the strain of that experience while mentioning that human beings were never meant to be that isolated.
