———-
Matt Barnes opened up to VladTV about being harassed by an officer in the Manhattan Beach police department when he was playing for the Lakers. Matt explained that he was pulled over by the same officer three times in a month for various reasons, including being told that his license was suspended, which Barnes later found out was not true.

Matt added that things came to a head one night when he was walking back from dinner with his then-wife. He explained that the same officer that had been pulling him over, called him over and told him that he was under arrest. When Matt refused to sit in a dirty alley, the officer called for back up and claimed that he was resisting arrest. Matt added that he later found out that the officer was new to the force and ways trying to make a name for himself.
