Luis is at work at a Home Depot in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California when he hears some soft meows coming from the bushes. He starts meowing back in an attempt to lure the kitten out. His strategy works and he is able to lure the tiny kitten out and take it back home with him. Luis immediately declares the kitten as his new buddy and names her Stella.
