In this clip, King Los shares his feelings on the story behind his father’s murder and the reason why he wanted to retaliate by killing the perpetrator’s father. He went on to explain his father’s death inspired him to start rapping. The Baltimore native cites rappers like Canibus, Big L and Big Pun as his biggest influences during his developmental days as a high school student, where he would often battle other kids during lunch period and win.
