In this clip, Khalil Kain broke down the backstory to landing his role in Juice. Kain said he didn’t have much acting experience prior to the film except for a few commercials and a spot as an extra in New Jack City. He said that the experience being an extra made him believe that that the acting profession was possible. Khalil Kain went on to discuss the auditioning process where he first saw Pac up close. Khalil said that it was obvious that he was a trained actor and that Pac pushed him to perform better. He also revealed the nickname he was given on set – “Old Man” – because it turns out Khalil was significantly older than his fellow cast members. While Pac, Omar Epps, and Jermaine Hopkins were all teenagers, Khalil was already 27 years old.
