John Salley opened up to VladTV about it being a bad bet to go against LeBron and Stephen A. Smith believing that Kevin Durant is the greatest player in the NBA right now. Salley said that Stephen A. makes a great argument, and he pointed out the consistency of Durant shooting the ball from 35 feet away and having a killer mentality. He also spoke about Durant catching heat for leaving OKC, but Salley explained that people only talk about your championships at the end of your NBA career.

From there, the conversation turned to Jordan’s comments about Steph Curry not being a hall of fame level player “yet,” which John believes gives Steph time to prove himself.
