Austin Reaves has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique strain and is OUT for the rest of the regular season AND the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs. He’ll miss 4-6 weeks. This comes one day after Luka Doncic was diagnosed with a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
Both players were injured in the SAME game — the Lakers’ 139-96 blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. And both players were sent BACK into the game by JJ Redick in the second half of a 40-point loss.
The Lakers just lost 57 points per game worth of offense. LeBron James is 41 years old. G League players are being called up for the playoffs.
