Jayson Williams opened up to VladTV about being the 21st pick in the first round of the NBA draft, which his father wasn’t sure was going to happen. Jayson explained that his agent told him and his family that he could be picked anywhere from 5 to 25, and Williams said that his father only heard “5,” which is why he wasn’t sure Jayson would be drafted at all.

Jayson went on to speak about being drafted by the Phoenix Suns and his friends having to get him drunk to get on the plane, with Jayson adding that he didn’t know where he was when he landed.
