On Wedesday’s (Sept. 4) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show discussing a recent clip from ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop,’ where Fat Joe explains why it’s hard for kids of successful rappers to make it in the rap game. Afterwards, the crew speaks on the recent comments made by Akon during his Breakfast Club interview where claims that some artists don’t live up to their full potential. Then, the EDS trio shares their thoughts on Lonzo Ball saying that Future has more hits than Nas, and explain how its ok to grow up admiring the hot artist of your generation. Later in the show, the crew dissect some tweets from Ebro and Meek Mill in their ‘Big Facts or B.S.???’ segment. Soon after, the EDS trio answers a fan question about new artists promoting their music without the help of Soundcloud, and to close out the show the crew talks about the Roc Nation and NFL campaign that will take place this week in Chicago.
