From actress to singer to… founder of a new beauty line?
Ariana Grande is a household name and for good reason. While most of us became fans of hers during her Victorious days on Nickelodeon, her musical talent has always been impressive. She’s gone from playing supporting characters in teen sitcoms to starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep (Honestly, go see the trailer for Don’t Look Up, it’s so good.). She’s won multiple Grammys, toured the world and even released Netflix concert films documenting said world tours. In short, there’s not much Ariana Grande can’t do. So we shouldn’t be surprised that the 28-year-old pop sensation is taking it upon herself to start her new beauty line, r.e.m. beauty.
Ari isn’t new to the world of business, as she’s already launched multiple successful perfumes. But now that she’s releasing a completely new line of products, it’s a whole new playing field. When she sat down and talked with Allure for their October issue, she mentioned that this project was two years in the making! And that’s insane, considering the fact that in that time, she’s gone on a world tour, launched new fragrances for her perfume line, released another album, put on a virtual concert in Fortnite, filmed an entire movie and became a coach on The Voice. Like… When does she sleep?
While she hasn’t yet given us a release date for the launch yet, she did mention via Instagram that r.e.m. beauty will be available in the fall, so keep your eyes peeled for more information. And according to Allure, she’s starting with eye products.
