A tour crew in Cabo San Lucas captured a rare and mesmerising moment when a humpback whale appeared directly beneath their boat, its movements visible through a glass panel in the vessels floor. The video, posted on TikTok by fernandomendoza4ever and now surpassing 608,000 views, has quickly become a viral sensation.
Fernando Mendoza and his crew had been enjoying the sweeping coastal views when they suddenly noticed the enormous whale gliding below them. Through the seethrough glass at the centre of the boats floor, the animals slow, rhythmic movements appeared almost like a dance, offering an unusually intimate perspective of one of the oceans giants.
