How Rihanna Pulled Off Her Fenty Fashion Show

Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty fashion show always delivers and turns out to be the hottest fashion show of the year! Rihanna’s much-anticipated Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 special premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 24th. We weren’t sure how Rihanna was going to top her show from last year, but she was able to deliver an even more show-stopping event this year. She always makes us forget other lingerie brands exist. It was full of celebrities baring it all in the skimpiest of lingerie looks.

This year’s lineup features performances by Normani, Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, Jade Novah, Erykah Badu, Nas, BIA, and Jazmine Sullivan. Rihanna is now one of just two designers who’ve ever been able to convince Lola Leon, Madonna’s elusive 24-year-old daughter, to grace their runway. Other celebrity appearances include, Gigi Hadid, Jeremy Hope, Vanessa Hudgens, Cindy Crawford, Thuso Mbedu, Troye Sivan, Emily Ratajkowski, and Precious Lee. And as expected, the lingerie in this collection also pushes the envelope, with an assortment of harnesses and chainmail designs. The pieces are highlighted by subtle yet impactful scenic elements, lighting, and filming techniques. The beauty aspects of the show were divided into four acts. The 200 models and dancers wore one of the looks dreamed up by Rihanna’s longtime makeup artist Priscilla Ono and Fenty Beauty Global Makeup Artist Hector Espinal.

What did you think of Savage x Fenty Vol. 3? Will next year be bigger? Have you bought any of the pieces from Rihanna’s lingerie collection? Let us know in the comments. For more videos like this one, subscribe to The Things Celebrity.
