How Meghan And Prince Harry’s Daughter Would Become Queen

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have welcomed their newest child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on June 4 in Santa Barbara, CA. When Meghan and Harry officially stepped down as senior royal family members over a year ago, followers of the royal family were curious to see what the reality of these changes would be. Their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born without a title even before his parents stepped down, and Meghan and Harry lost their HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) style, but maintained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles as they began their new lives in California. Once it was announced the the Duchess was expecting a baby girl in the Summer of 2021, more questions surfaced about where the child would stand in the line of succession, whether or not she would have a title, and if she stands a chance of becoming queen. Born eighth in line to the throne and without a title, we know that she is a ways down in the line of succession, but that historically, the line of succession can change. So will Lilibet become queen? And who is above her in the line of succession? Let us know what you think about a potential future Queen Lilibet in the comments below!
