Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, all eyes have been on King Charles and his wife Camilla Shands. With Charles’s accession to King, it’s royal protocol that Camilla gets a promotion too. After years of a whirlwind love affair that led to 17 years of marriage, and what King Charles calls “steadfast devotion to duty”, Camilla is finally becoming Queen, officially Queen Consort.
