In this clip, Hope Flood spoke about her upbringing in Michigan where her grandmother raised her until she moved to LA to be with her mother. Hope recalled the culture shock she experienced inside and outside of the house in South Central before regaining some normalcy when she moved to a black middle-class enclave in Inglewood.
Later, Hope detailed how she got her start in comedy and her past fling with Jamie Foxx.
In this clip, Hope Flood recounted Jamie Foxx developing the infamous “Wanda” character from In Living Color at her comedy club way before he debuted it on TV. She also spoke about how Jamie always had a passion for music and that she believes he’d much rather be Brian McKnight.
Later, Hope talked about DL Hughley’s “side baby” situation seeing how she’s the friend of DL’s baby mama. Hope talked about her friend finding out the baby died and why she believes her ex-boyfriend is to blame.
