LOS ANGELES – During the early 1980s, the Hip-Hop scene in Los ANgeles was in its beginning stages, and Uncle Jams Army, The World Class Wrecking Cru and Ultra Wave were some of the first entities involved in the music.
Greg Mack was the number one radio DJ playing Hip-Hop music on the radio on 1580 KDAY. Greg Mack developed relationships with Dr. Dre, DJ Yella and Eazy-E and he was the first on to play “Boyz-N-The Hood” on the radio.
