I found the bat stuck in the stair way. Bats cant take off from the ground. I went inside and put my heavy duty gloves on and he jumped into my hand and flew away. There is heavy dog traffic in that area so I felt it was best to get him out of there without anyone getting injured.
And yes I got rabies shot afterwards just in case.
