Slalom kayaking coach Anton Lippek was mid-session at the Holme Pierrepont National Water Sports Centre when his athletes were upstaged– by a flock of geese. The birds, undeterred by the rushing rapids, glided down the whitewater course with surprising finesse, catching waves like seasoned paddlers.
