A family in Mantyharju, Finland, transformed boiling water into snow as temperatures dropped to -23 degrees Celsius on January 1.
The video posted to TikTok by @khuyennhb has racked up over 20 million views and it shows what happens when boiling water is thrown into freezing air.
“On New Year’s Day the cold wind from Siberia visited Finland which dragged the temperature down to -23C in Mantyharju, Finland. Also very cold weather brought together a clear and sunny sky. We stood on the frozen lake and tried the trick for the first time. And it worked really well,” said the filmer.
