After wrapping up her morning basketball practice, Haley Malia spotted something unexpected, a small deer wandering nearby. With one hand in her pocket and the other holding her phone, she filmed the quiet moment, zoomed in, and, barely moving, baffled by the sight.
The video, posted on TikTok, exploded overnight with more than 20 million views in just 24 hours.
Some viewers posted their concerns about the deer’s condition.
“Its not a dwarf deer, it looks like its legs has a deformity and didnt develop correctly,” commented one.
Another said: “Deer expert here, this is a dwarf deer they commonly are born with broken legs 🙁 this poor little guys front legs are broken and has to walk around with only ankles.”
