Keefe D trial in the murder of Tupac Shakur, continues with witness #4, Fred Miller, is a former Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detective who testified remotely during the murder trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis. He was originally assigned to investigate the 1997 drive-by shooting of Christopher Wallace, famously known as the Notorious B.I.G. During his recent testimony, Miller revealed that Davis had briefly been a suspect in Wallace’s death after Davis admitted to being present at the Petersen Automotive Museum party Wallace attended just before being killed.
Davis’s defense attorney immediately objected to the inclusion of this testimony to prevent prejudicing the jury. Consequently, the judge and prosecutors agreed to formally instruct the jurors that police do not actually believe Davis was involved in Wallace’s murder.
