In this clip, Fab Morvan speaks about meeting up with Rob Pilatus and later forming Milli Vanilli. He explained that he and Rob formed a duo together, but they didn’t become Milli Vanilli until they started working with producer Frank Farian. From there, they signed a contract with Frank, and Rob and Fab were performing pre-recorded songs that didn’t include their vocals. Fab explained that they were forced to lip-sync after “Girl You Know It’s True” became a smash hit, which you can hear more about above.
